cinplay.zip(110K) This is a Quake II .cin movie player. It only displays the images, not the sound, but the sound is pulled from the file for you. It needs GLUT (see below), and hardware 3D to run well. The code is portable, and shows a very fast way to pointsample and convert a paletted image to RGBA8888 format for OpenGL. There are many improvements that could be made, but I leave that up to you. The archive contains both the source code, and a precompiled Win32 exe. It has been tested on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95.

To use the drivers, copy the 3 DLLs to the same directory (folder) as the program you want to use them with. WARNING!! Do not copy opengl32.dll and glu32.dll to your /system or /system32 directories. You may, however, copy glut32.dll to your /system or /system32 directory if you want to only have one copy on your hard drive.
